Following the release of dance single, “Trouble,” Ashley Brinton unplugs to deliver a no-frills version of the dance hit.

Just 3-months following the launch of the original, Ashley Brinton will release an acoustic, unplugged version with an accompanying music video set to premiere on June 26th.  The song and video are simple and stripped down. With technology so prevalent in our everyday lives, Brinton wanted to show a simplistic side to her music and the new acoustic version delivers just that.

“Trouble” is about having a crush on someone that is wrong for you but when emotions take over, you know you just can’t control it and …you’re in trouble. The one-to-watch popstar wrote and recorded the original song with Grammy Award winning producer Cory Rooney (Jennifer Lopez, Michael Jackson, Marc Anthony, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé). The initial version of “Trouble” premiered on Nick Music’s ‘Fresh Faces’ (Nickelodeon’s Pop Music TV Channel) and has since accumulated over 400K views on YouTube and other platforms. (* any other accolades we can add here? )

The acoustic version of “Trouble” is set to debut on YouTube and Spotify as well as iTunes,… Fans can expect to see an accompanying music video that is raw and simplistic, one of those rare moments when you get to experience an artist telling a story through their music – pure expression in its unadulterated form. Of the new video, Brinton says “Fill quote in here.” She is thrilled share the new version later this month.

Born and raised in Florida, and currently residing in Los Angeles, Ashley has been performing since she was 7-years old. Now at age 17, while working on honing in a sound and style that is inspiring and truly reflects who she is.
